About us

These Terms of Sale apply to purchases made through the Hoppit Studios website.

Hoppit Studios Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales.

Company number: 17409690

Registered office:

Hoppit Studios Ltd
c/o Hart Simpson Ltd
28 Terminus Road

United Kingdom

Email: hoppitstudios@icloud.com

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Hoppit Studios Ltd.

"You" and "your" mean the person purchasing from us.

About these terms

These terms explain the basis on which we sell goods through the Hoppit Studios website.

Please read them before placing an order.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Our Privacy Policy, Returns and Refunds Policy and Shipping Policy also contain important information about purchases from us.

Our products

We take reasonable care to describe and show our products accurately.

Because books and other printed products are physical objects, colours and other details may vary slightly between screen images, proofs and finished printed copies.

Product dimensions, materials, formats and other important specifications will be stated on the relevant product page where appropriate.

Some Hoppit Studios products may be printed or produced after an order is placed. This does not remove your normal statutory cancellation rights simply because the product is produced to fulfil your order.

If we ever sell an item which is genuinely personalised or made to an individual customer's specification and different cancellation rights apply, we will make this clear before the order is placed.

Prices

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).

The total price payable will be shown before you place your order.

Any applicable delivery charge will be shown clearly during checkout.

The total amount payable will be shown before you place your order.

We may change our prices from time to time. A price change will not affect an order which we have already accepted.

If we discover an obvious pricing error, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible. We will not knowingly fulfil an order at a price which was clearly displayed in error without first contacting you.

Placing an order

You can place an order by following the checkout process on our website.

Before submitting your order, you will have an opportunity to review the items ordered, delivery information and total price and to correct errors.

Placing an order means that you are offering to buy the goods shown in your order.

After you place an order, we will send you an email confirming that we have received it.

Our acknowledgement of your order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

A contract between you and Hoppit Studios Ltd is formed when we confirm that your order has been accepted and is being processed for fulfilment or dispatch.

If we cannot accept your order, we will tell you and refund any payment already taken.

Reasons might include a product becoming unavailable, an error in its price or description, a problem with payment, or an inability to deliver to the address provided.

Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout.

Payment is processed securely through the payment services made available through our Shopify store.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details ourselves.

Your payment must be authorised before your order can be fulfilled.

Printing and fulfilment

We may use specialist third-party printers and fulfilment providers to produce, pack and dispatch orders on our behalf.

Your purchase contract remains with Hoppit Studios Ltd.

If you have a problem with an order, please contact Hoppit Studios rather than the printer or fulfilment provider.

Delivery

We currently deliver to the United Kingdom only.

Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy and are shown during the ordering process.

We will arrange delivery to the address supplied with your order.

Please check your delivery address carefully before submitting the order.

Unless we have agreed a different delivery period with you, goods will be delivered without undue delay and normally within 30 days after the contract is made.

If an event outside our reasonable control causes a delay, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the delay.

Your legal rights concerning delayed or failed delivery are not affected.

When the goods become your responsibility

The goods become your responsibility when they are delivered to you or to another person nominated by you to receive them.

Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.

Your right to change your mind

If you are a consumer buying online, you normally have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your purchase.

For most physical goods bought from Hoppit Studios, you may tell us that you wish to cancel at any time from placing your order until 14 days after you, or someone nominated by you, receives the goods.

You do not have to give us a reason.

To cancel, contact us at:

Email: hoppitstudios@icloud.com

You may use the cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you do not have to use it.

Please include enough information for us to identify your order.

Returning goods after cancellation

After telling us that you wish to cancel, you must return the goods to us within 14 days.

Returns address: to be confirmed before public sales. Hart Simpson clarification requested 27 August 2026.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or we have agreed otherwise, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning them.

We recommend obtaining proof of postage.

You are entitled to inspect a product as you reasonably could in a shop.

You may be responsible for a reduction in its value if you handle or use it more than is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and condition.

For books intended for colouring, cutting, joining or other participation, marking, colouring, cutting, writing on or otherwise using the pages will normally go beyond reasonable inspection. If this reduces the value of the returned product, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund.

Refunds following cancellation

If you cancel within your legal cancellation period, we will refund the price you paid for the goods.

We will also refund the cost of our standard delivery service where the law requires us to do so.

If you selected a more expensive delivery service, we do not have to refund the additional amount above the cost of our standard delivery service.

We will make the refund without undue delay and within the period required by law.

For returned goods, we may wait until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence that you have sent them back, whichever happens first.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase unless another method is agreed.Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

We are legally responsible for supplying goods which are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.

If your order arrives damaged, is faulty, is not what you ordered, or does not match its description, please contact us as soon as possible at:

Email: hoppitstudios@icloud.com

Please provide your order number and, where useful, photographs showing the problem.

Your legal rights may include a refund, repair or replacement depending on the circumstances and the time since purchase.

We will not require you to pay reasonable return costs where goods are returned because they are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

Problems caused in delivery

If your parcel appears to have been lost or damaged during delivery, please contact us rather than the delivery carrier in the first instance.

We will investigate the problem with our fulfilment or delivery provider.

Your contract is with Hoppit Studios Ltd and using another company to print, fulfil or deliver your order does not remove our responsibilities to you.

Intellectual property

The Hoppit Studios name, branding, characters, illustrations, written material and other content appearing on our products and website are protected by intellectual property rights.

Hoppit Studios is a registered trade mark owned by Denise Wrightson and Vicky Platt and used by Hoppit Studios Ltd with permission. This includes the Hoppit Studios word mark and Hoppit Studios logo mark.

Buying one of our products does not transfer copyright, trade mark rights or other intellectual property rights to you.

You may use the physical product for your own personal use, including the colouring, cutting, joining and making activities for which the product is intended.

You may not reproduce, publish, commercially exploit or sell copies of our illustrations or other protected material without permission.

Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Personal information

We use personal information in order to process orders, take payment, arrange fulfilment and delivery, provide customer service and operate our business.

More information about how we collect, use and share personal information is contained in our Privacy Policy.

Complaints

We hope there will not be many.

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first so that we have an opportunity to put it right.

Email: hoppitstudios@icloud.com

We will deal with complaints fairly and as promptly as reasonably possible.

Nothing in this section prevents you from using any consumer complaint, dispute resolution or legal process available to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Sale from time to time, for example if our products, delivery arrangements or legal obligations change.

The terms which apply to an order are the terms in force when that order is placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections which apply where you live and may bring legal proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
